Attend any Filipino housewarming or gathering and there is sure to be karaoke in the programme. It is in their blood. The Bajau aka Sea Gypsies of Philippines traditionally have a song for every occasion. In addition, Bajau children are encouraged to express their emotions by singing so much so that even if the lyrics are harsh, it is accepted.

With that, how can Filipinos - pure or mixed - not rise to be famous singers?
